Large trivets are 24 cm in diameter
Buttonworks is owned and operated as a family business. Their products are 100% made in Australia. Everything is cut, assembled and packaged in their home studio on the Mornington Peninsula, near Melbourne. Buttonworks always endeavour to use Australian materials and source recycled and local materials wherever possible. They are registered with the Australian Made and Australian Grown Campaign, and are licensed to use the Australian Made logo on their products.
Buttonworks use timber veneers and not solid timber as this extends the use of the tree. Their timbers are sourced from Australian suppliers who invest in new growth plantations. Wherever possible they ensure the timbers used are Australian and are processed in a sustainable manner. All timbers have been sealed and varnished, which helps protect them from water marking or staining. An occasional application of a vegetable oil is recommended to help protect the timber.
