About the Artist
Kaylene Whiskey is an acclaimed Aboriginal artist from Indulkana in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands of South Australia and a member of Iwantja Arts. Inspired by 1980s pop culture, music, community, and strong female role models, her colourful artworks blend everyday life with iconic cultural figures, creating imaginative and joyful worlds that celebrate empowerment, connection, and creativity.
