Heart-Tee Blue Tee is made from 100% pure Butterfly Pea Flowers. Naturally mild in flavour and renowned for its vibrant blue colour, this unique herbal tea transforms from blue to purple and pink with the addition of lemon or lime juice. Rich in anthocyanin antioxidants, it offers a fascinating and colourful tea experience that's as enjoyable to watch as it is to drink.
Traditionally used in Thailand to create the popular iced tea drink Nam Dok Anchun, Butterfly Pea Flower tea can be enjoyed hot or cold with a touch of honey and lemon. Beyond tea, its striking natural colour makes it perfect for creative cocktails, colourful ice cubes and even blue rice dishes.
Wild Hibiscus founder Lee first discovered these beautiful blue flowers growing wild in his hibiscus plantations in central Thailand in 2010. Recognising their unique potential, he spent two years developing a plantation system and specialised three-stage drying process to create an internationally recognised premium-grade Butterfly Pea Flower tea.
Each Blue Tee teabag is individually foil sealed and contains 16 premium hand-picked Butterfly Pea Flowers.
