Featuring artwork inspired by the Seven Sisters Dreaming story, this beautiful artisanal bag celebrates one of the great stories of the Western Desert. The design tells of the Seven Sisters as they travelled across the landscape, creating landforms and waterholes while being pursued by Wati Nyiru, who can still be seen in the night sky chasing the Sisters across the stars.
Crafted from upcycled paper made from cotton offcuts, this unique bag combines meaningful Aboriginal art with sustainable craftsmanship.

Artwork Story
The Seven Sisters created the landscape as they tried to escape from Wati Nyiru. Along their journey they formed rock holes and shaped the land before flying into the sky. Today, Wati Nyiru can still be seen to the south of the Seven Sisters (the Pleiades), continuing his pursuit across the night sky.
