We wanted to capture the calm, unhurried spirit of this gentle tree-dweller. The soft, smoky grey and warm creamy tones felt like the perfect way to echo the quiet beauty of a koala resting among the eucalyptus branches. Part of the charm of this collection is that every piece is unique – subtle shifts in the glaze ensure no two mugs are ever exactly the same.
IMPORTANT: The Koala mug is made with a classic Chino glaze. Because the glaze is very fluid, each piece shows natural colour variation, from dark grey through pale beige, with occasional faint maroon hues, finished with a consistent satin surface.
