Each cartoon ibis in flight features a patch of red skin visible under each wing. The background of the drawing shows Lake Burley Griffin in bright sunshine, with nearby landmarks in view, such as the Captain Cook Memorial Jet water fountain and Telstra Tower.
The cards are large, colourful and printed on thick 400 gsm glossy card stock. Each card measures 11.7 x 18.2 cm (4.6 x 6.1 inches), features a blank interior, and includes an envelope.
