Artwork Story
Ngarrindjeri Peggeralin (My Ngarrindjeri Country Dreaming) tells the story of Ngurunderi, who travelled along the Murray River following Pondi, the great Murray Cod. Together they shaped the river, lakes, waterways, and landscapes of Ngarrindjeri Country, while creating the plants, animals, and people who belong to the region. The artwork reflects the deep cultural connections between Country, waterways, community, and creation.
