About the Artist Judy Napangardi Watson was born at Yarungkanji, Mt Doreen Station, and developed her distinctive artistic style while painting alongside her elder sister, Maggie Napangardi Watson, at Warlukurlangu Artists. Renowned for her intricate and increasingly abstract interpretations of Jukurrpa (Dreaming stories), her work maintains strong cultural connections to place, song, and sacred knowledge. Since 1990, Judy's artworks have been exhibited throughout Australia and internationally and are represented in major collections around the world.
