The Fink Bowls series was inspired by Japanese origami. When differently sized bowls are placed inside one another they appear as a delicate paper sculpture.
In order to manufacture the bowls a hydraulic device reminiscent of an octopus was invented to stretch the material into the desired shape.
The bowls fulfil a variety of tabletop needs with the small size suited to serving dips and nuts, the medium size designed to serve bread rolls, crisps and biscuits whilst the large size is ideal for salads or as a fruit bowl.
