About the photograph.
Ragged Range, The Kimberley, Western Australia, Australia.
Watching the sun go down over the impressive Ragged Range was a sight to behold late on this day. An ancient and rugged landscape, it really did feel like another world compared to what I am used to seeing across other areas in Australia. Witnessing these impressive rock formations illuminated across this range was truly something special in this incredible wilderness region. - Scott Leggo
An ancient landscape covering hundreds of thousands of square kilometres, the Kimberley is one of the world's most precious wilderness regions. Almost twice the size of Victoria and three times that of the United Kingdom, the Kimberley region is spread over Australia's entire north-western corner and is one of the world's last wilderness frontiers.
