Tasmania's native grasslands, where some of Australia's finest superfine merino sheep graze, are dotted with bursts of pink and purple wildflowers. As dusk settles, these pastures reveal their hidden gems—chocolate lilies (Arthropodium strictum), with their delicate violet petals and sweet scent, and the fairy's aprons (Utricularia dichotoma), tiny blooms that peek from the grasses like scattered brushstrokes of colour. These grasslands are a testament to Tasmania's biodiversity, carefully stewarded by generations of sustainable land managers who ensure both the wool and the wildflowers thrive.

ABOUT OUR RECYCLED WOOL
Pure wool offcuts and ends are shredded, spun, and blended with Australian merino wool to make our recycled yarn. In the Breezy throw, these threads are dyed and woven with undyed yarn, letting each speckle of the recycled fibres shine. Each thread is unique, creating a beautiful, variegated throw with a story to tell.
A BIT ABOUT MICRONS
The smaller the micron count, the finer the wool fibre will be. Wool typically falls in a range of 18–40 microns. These throws are made with robust but soft 29-micron Merino wool, making them soft enough to cosy up with inside but durable enough for outdoor use.
Due to the nature of our products, there may be some slight variation in sizing.
Variations in colour and slub in yarns is a natural part of this recycled product.
