Cushion Cover Wool 16in (40cm)-ECOCBX
Cairns Birdwing (Ornithoptera euphorion) is a large butterfly living in a small coastal strip in Queensland. The female can reach a wingspan of 150mm and the male 125mm. The male is the most brightly coloured of the species. The larvae of this species will die if they eat the leaves of the introduced Dutchman's Pipe (Aristolochia elegans). Over collection of this spectacular species has put them on the endangered species list and they are now protected.
