Wiriny is traditionally a very important plant for Indigenous people. It is a great source of bush tukka in the fruit and also the leaves. The leaves also provide bush medicine when pulped into a poultice as an antiseptic for wounds and chewed for sore throats. The stripped leaves also form the fibre for making traditional bags, fishing line, baskets and twine.
These earrings measure approx. 9cm in length.
They have an orange mirror 'fruit' green leaves with white painted details and a bamboo mirror top.
All our earrings are made with stainless-steel/nickel free findings
