SPECIES Panacea prola
ORIGIN Peru
FRAME 14.5x14.5xD5cm Made from recycled products.
DESCRIPTION AKA The Red Flasher. This framed butterfly has iridescent petrol blue and sea blue combined to make an unusual combination of colours whilst in sharp contrast the verso has a bright brick red colouration. The males like to imbide from mineral risch sands on riverbanks and are often seen in crowds of 50 or more. The bright red verso wings when flapped act as a warning to others of impending danger.
