Greeting card with artwork featuring the design Willie wagtail in the Garden of Australian Dreams, Canberra by Stuart McMillen.
On a rainy day, a Willie Wagtail perches on a metal pole in the central courtyard of the National Museum of Australia in Canberra. Through the raindrops, we see distant people holding umbrellas exploring the Garden of Australian Dreams, the dramatic central area of the NMA. In the background are the orange loop in the forecourt of the National Museum, as well as the iconic Telstra Tower on nearby Black Mountain.
The cards are large, colourful and printed on thick 400 gsm glossy card stock. Each card measures 11.7 x 18.2 cm (4.6 x 6.1 inches), features a blank interior, and includes an envelope.
Stuart McMillen is a studio resident of Gorman Arts Centre in Canberra.
