Greeting card with artwork featuring the design Gang-gang cockatoos at City Hill, Canberra by Stuart McMillen.
A cartoon-style illustration of a gang-gang cockatoo flying through the air in Canberra as the orange sun rises in the morning sky. Two other gang-gangs perch on a branch of City Hill, near the ACT flag hanging on its flagpole. In the background, the scene shows Canberra landmarks such as Parliament House, the High court, and the National Library on the far side of Lake Burley Griffin.
The illustration works perfectly as positive and uplifting card design that is suitable for all occasions. Even those who have never visited Canberra will get a kick out of this design.
The cards are large, colourful and printed on thick 400 gsm glossy card stock. Each card measures 11.7 x 18.2 cm (4.6 x 6.1 inches), features a blank interior, and includes an envelope.
Stuart McMillen is a studio resident of Gorman Arts Centre in Canberra.
