THE HINTERLAND TEA BOX — TWO AUSTRALIAN BOTANICAL LOOSE LEAF TEAS
We ascended Australia’s highest summits and summarised them in this delectable duo of green and herbal tea. The Tea Centre is proud to include The Hinterland Box in our Australian Botanical Tea collection, sourced from the most pristine place on earth…home.
Specifically, from near Australia’s Top End heralds a healing herbal known as maarr. This wild-harvest lemongrass (Cymbopogon ambiguus) is traditional bush medicine and Indigenous communities in Western, Northern, and Central Australia use it to remedy infection and headaches. This is the botanical at the heart of our Native Lemongrass & Ginger half of this remedial duo box. We then cross borders to meet you in the Victorian Alps where Alpine Sencha grows abundant. The cold climate high in this mountainous region invigorates the tea leaves, filling them with antioxidants and that classic green tea taste. We also pluck the loose leaves in the same fashion as its Japanese counterpart: only the buds and upper leaves make up this tea.
When it comes to this delectable green tea and herbal tisane, no milk or sugar is required. You already have all the goodness you need in these two teas that are enjoyable morning, noon, and night.
