Metal pin badge based on the Gayer-Anderson Cat sculpture.
The vibrant badge is made from enamelled metal, and celebrates ancient Egyptian design.
The original sculpture is a bronze cat figure from the Late Period of Ancient Egypt. The cat represents the goddess Bastet, and is named after Major Robert Grenville Gayer-Anderson, who donated the cat to the British Museum in 1939.
A charming souvenir of the British Museum’s collection.
